The League is Looking for the Best Lacrosse Players in the US
ONEIDA, N.Y. — The newly formed American Box Lacrosse League (ABLL) today announced that it will host its inaugural Invite-Only Player Combine on November 21–22, 2026, at the Mary C. Winder Community Center in Oneida, New York.
The two-day combine represents the first official step in building the league’s inaugural roster of players. Invited athletes from across the United States will compete in a series of evaluations, practices, and scrimmages designed to showcase their skills and earn a place in the league’s inaugural player pool.
Following the combine, selected players will be drafted onto one of four teams that will compete in the ABLL’s inaugural Barnstorming Showcase Tour, set to begin in January 2027 throughout the Northeast. The tour will provide players with meaningful, high-level competition while helping grow the sport of box lacrosse in key markets across the United States.
“The ABLL will provide an opportunity for both outdoor and indoor players to showcase their talents and compete at the highest level of lacrosse,” said George Manias, ABLL President and Chief Operating Officer. “This combine will be the first step in establishing our product and we encourage any player who desires to play professional indoor lacrosse in the United States to attend this camp to get their opportunity.”
The Invite-Only Player Combine will feature athletes selected through the league’s scouting and evaluation process, bringing together many of the nation’s top emerging and experienced box lacrosse players. Participants will be evaluated by ABLL coaches and league personnel on their individual skills, game IQ, athleticism, and ability to compete within the fast-paced indoor game.
